Our one day Challenge Day programmes are for groups of all ages, and can be delivered at your location or at a local adventure site.
The focus is on participants learning about leadership theory through participation in team activities, and developing an understanding of team dynamics and leadership styles through practice and review. An educational journey that is as fun to watch as it is to participate in. We are able to plan a specific event for you depending on what you want to get out of it.
We have over 30 different activity sessions, from catapult making to assault courses and orienteering, all designed to develop the following aspects…

Costs are very dependent on the type of day you require, particularly in the choice of the ‘big’ activities chosen. We typically charge £275 per day plus £22 (problem solving activities) to £37 (use of Inflatables and Body Zorbs) per participant per day (e.g. 1 day Leadership Challenge event for 60 participants = £1,595-£2,495), depending on the equipment you wish to utilise. No extra costs to add unless you wish to have the challenge day planned off-site.
A minimum of 20 children for a course. Price includes all equipment, instructors, planning, and all travel costs for instructors and equipment. No hidden charges. We are committed to being as competitively priced as we can.
We run this programme on school/group grounds but it can just as easily be run at locations away from your site.
The advantages of being on your site include:
- Indoor facilities for introductions and presentations
- Lower costs as no off-site location costs incurred
- No hassle with arranging transport for all the participants
- The programme can be designed to mirror the timings of your school day/timetable
What are the group sizes?
The group sizes can vary depending on your requests as a school or group. However we always try to keeps group small between 6-10 to encourage full participation ensuring each child get as much out of the day as possible.
Who are the Challenge Days for?
Activ Challenge Days are super flexible in terms of the activities offered and in terms of ages and participants. We provide school fun days and fetes ranging from a single year group to an entire school. With all our inflatables available for hire, we are perfect for birthday parties and school sports day.
How long are the activities?
Timings vary according to your school timetable, however each activity will last between 25-40 minutes. This is to ensure every child has the chance to get fully involved and to keep energy levels and concentration throughout the entire activity.
Does a shorter day make it cheaper?
Nope. In fact a shorter day can make it more expensive. Condensing a fun day into half a day or a few hours requires more staff and usually more equipment, increasing your costs. However ultimately this depends on the activities requested and the number of children participating.
Do you need a power supply?
If the activities chosen include either an inflatable, body zorbs or archery tag, a power point must be available. This must be within 30 meters of where the inflatable is to be placed. Where a power point is not available then a generator can be hired for an additional fee of £90.
How much space is required?
Typically, a minimum of 100m x 100m is required. However, if you are unsure whether the space you have available is suitable, please get in touch with us and we can discuss.
